Arushi was born and brought-up in Switzerland. At the age of eight she began taking piano lessons. Under her teacher, Mr. Stephan Langenbach, she took part in numerous competitions and achieved first place at the Aargau Music Competition and a place among the top three at the Swiss Youth Music Competition. From an early age she was also interested in Indian dance. After being guided by Padmashri Dr. Minati Mishra in Odissi, she started in 2014 to learn Bharata Natyam under Vidushi Smt. Vijaya Rao in the Nateschwara Academy. Arushi is a gifted artist. Her great passion for dance and music brought her success already at a young age. In 2023 Arushi took part in the Youth Festival of the Nateschwara Academy and impressed the audience with classical music on piano and with Bharata Natyam. Presently she is studying at ETH Zurich.
