Ranga Pravesha (Sanskrit), also Arangetram (Tamil), literally means ‘first stage appearance’ and is the traditional term for a stage debut. On this memorable occasion, the Indian dance student takes the stage for the first time after learning the basic repertoire. The dance student has, so to speak, matured into a dancer. In front of a select audience, invited guests and art connoisseurs, she proves her stage maturity in a promising performance.
The Ranga Pravesha will take place at the Nateschwara Theater, Rütistrasse 3, 5400 Baden.
