Ranga Pravesha or Arangetram, the stage debut after completion of the basics in Bharata Natyam

The Sanskrit word Ranga Pravesha and the Tamil word Arangetram mean ascending the stage by a dancer on the completion of formal training. To perform a Ranga Pravesha/Arangetram is an old tradition and promising event. It marks the pathway for a dancer to become a stage artist and is held in presence of invited guests and lover of art.
