What is the magic of classical Indian dance?

In the extraordinary dance program Encounter with Bharata Natyam by and with Vijaya Rao, with the participation of members of the Nateschwara Dancers, this question is answered. But not only that. The whole diversity of Bharata Natyam opens up and takes the audience on a fascinating journey across centuries into the world of multi-faceted Indian dance.

The program includes music compositions from India’s early art period, virtuoso choreographies by the legendary master Shri Pathagudi S. Ramaswamy, as well as excerpts from dance dramas composed by Vijaya Rao, which she presented on her numerous tours throughout Europe and enchanted audiences with.
